Spring?

Well, spring should be coming. A few days ago, this is what was out back. Now, not so much.

Owwwoooooooooo!

We don't have any neighbors with dogs, so I have to assume that the howling at the moon last night was from werewolves. Err, wait... werewolves would be in human form under a full moon, right? Anyways, we'd seen some four-legged mammal tracks in the snow in our yard over the last few weeks, which I supposed was probably from a coyote or fox. I never bought the dubious reports of a mountain lion roaming Boxborough a few years ago.

This is a (poor) picture that I took last night without a tripod. Why does the moon always look smaller in pictures than in real life?

From warm to cold and CUTE!

Upon returning from SC, we found our yard quite a bit clearer than when we left.

We weren't satisfied with the weather here, so we thought we'd find someplace colder. In the process we were treated to some serious cuteness.

Is it unseasonably warm in here?

Or is our house just warmer? Well, maybe both. It used to be that I could tell how cold it was outside by how cold it is inside, but no more. On the other hand, it has been kind of warm the past couple days.

Not much to report here. As some of you might know, I had an end of October deadline for finishing the data for my paper. Well, we missed that, but I'm pretty close. I've been doing mostly boring data analysis at work. I've made a few bags and a quilt, but I don't have any pictures due to the fact that I've assigned photography to Brian. In the meantime, here is a picture of the view out our back door and another one of my sewing machine.

I'm still here

I still have posting privileges on this blog and I'm getting heat for not posting anything. So here are some recent pictures from our backyard.
